I have just made a small change in the paragraph about the absence of a conflict of interest policy for the WMF. Such a policy does now finally exist, but there is still no indication anywhere that the Board -- minus the Wikia-conflicted members -- ever officially discussed whether and/or the degree to which any conflict exists for Wales and Davis.

The author does not object to translation of this work into other languages, without attribution to this source. The author does request that origination credit not be overtly assumed by the translator, a la Guy Chapman who is known to steal material and go way out of his way to remove credit for the original author and declare it his own creation.

Of course, the author also cannot speak for those people who are mentioned in the "End note", above.

Should someone wish to translate this for a... ummm... non-English language version of the Wikipedia article on itself, he wouldn't be able to cite the source (otherwise the anglophones would definitely spot it).

Would the author object to an unreferenced translation of this appearing, in order to better educate Wikipedia users...?
