You should consider changing it to
"Cack" ....... intransitive version, of course.
Due to a deliberate mispronunciation of one of my old roommates, I always associate "cack" with the second noun form.

I started using it 14 or so years ago on IRC when other users started using my preferred nick.
Lots of users were using the same name? That must have been very confusing. By the way, what's your opinion on the "Aitias is an arsehole" situation?
I had been going by "knuckles" on efnet IRC from later 1994. By 1996, several other knuckleses popped up on the network, so I tried various alternates, including "knuckles-" and "canuck" until settling on "caknuck". It's stuck since then, and nobody else seems to want to bother trying to usurp it.

I had stepped AFK for a while after offering
my explanation of the block. By the time I got back, the whole situation had devolved and I quickly realized that I had nothing constructive to add to the conversations.
Personally, I think everyone could have benefited if Aitias had stepped back and put the kerosene can down. Once my initial block occurred, he should have backed off. That being said, when RMHED countered with the "arsehole" comment, he only exacerbated the problem. Both of them should have, as seicer said, stopped down for a nice cup of tea. You can't let stupid online disputes become personal, and this whole mess started as a stupid, stupid dispute.
