Now, to me, this sort of thing, where Jimbo tries to tell the press that "nothing really happened" and "the real story is that we actually don't keep IP addresses blocked for very long" is just plain sad. He should own up to the system's flaws and do something about them, not try to spin them out of existence in the media... And they accuse their detractors and critics of being "whiners"? Ask not for whom the bell tolls, O Faithful Ones!
Also, this reporter also seems to be coming around to a state of "cluefulness" towards the end:
