I promoted Somey and Poetlister because the one asked nicely, and the other claims to be a cute female; in any case, obviously Selina and I aren't doing much of anything here, so its time for new leadership. I also promoted Herschelkrustofsky, just for the hell of it.

I never claimed to be cute, did I? Devastatingly handsome, perhaps... I think once you turn 40 you're legally enjoined from using the word "cute" to describe yourself, at least here in the US.

Vanity or no, I was thinking of replacing the "Cross-Eyed Siggy" avatar photo with an actual picture of myself. I keep pointing my neat-o new digital camera at my face, hoping to produce a shot that looks like me but that my own family still won't quite recognize... It's even harder than it sounds! Nevertheless, it might be an important step towards putting my money where my mouth is, as regards the anonymity vs. accountability issue. Then again, it might not...

I'll keep trying, though!
