Of course I'm not allowed to edit Wikipedia, but if I were, I might have recently been presented with this CAPTCHA image when saving an edit with external links.
Gratuitous, yes. But I'll admit to laughing every time I look at it.
(By the way, I suspect it's supposed to be a combination of "heads" and "hits".)

The unthinking arrangement of words in random sequence is a fundamental value of Wikipedia. This accounts for most articles. If it is gratuitously offensive it is considered a bonus.

I'm just trying to decide which cabal are the "headshits".
Is it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Arbitration_Committee or, more generically, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators. Then again, it could be http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Board_of_Trustees - although they are probably the "overheadshits".

Been busy at my day job — I know you all think that Turing Testing is a bot's job, but Captcha is just another word for Cache with nothing to do …
OBTW, a really good use for Captcha Codes is when you have x-hausted yer høøman ∀ 2 høøman creativity for cooking up new sockpuppet names — just reverse the 2 words to get the password.
