Or, more likely, the sound of crickets chirping.

The least that I can do is to inform lurkers.

Disclaimer: Since CheckUsers and Oversighters are being appointed instead of elected, I do not see this as canvassing.

I have never heard of any of the Checkuser candidates. We have a saying at home, if you hear silence at least it is not bad news. No doubt were they too awful we would know of them.

Of the Oversighters I know that Tiptoety has a poor reputation in some quarters. I have heard a trace of mentifisto bu tnothing too bad. Again, of the others I know nothing.

I'm not sure about that. RfA and RfB are not elections, in theory at least; they are discussions and the closing bureaucrat sums up the discussion. However, coming here and encouraging participation in an RfA or RfB would clearly be canvassing.

I've heard rumours to that effect.

Who Are The Candidatez?

One must be responsible for his actions and his (ab)/use of power. I would nominate the following if I were in charge:

* Herschelkrustofsky

* Cognition

* Cla68

* Rootology

* Ecoleetage

* A Nobody

* Alison

I feel that they are *RESPONSIBLE* people.

For what things are they responsible? blink.gif

If you were really in charge you could just promote them unilaterally.

Certainly I'd support Ecoleetage and possibly Cla68. I have severe doubts about some of the others.
