It's very important that they all do this. They want to give people a sense of the great power they have to influence the way we think and vote. I hope people get that sense, and I hope people start to get a little afraid of it. Hope that makes sense.

It used to be that engaging in political activity was not a charitable act. Is that still the case? OXFAM, Christian Aid, Save the Children, etc had separate organisations to carry out political campaigning.

Edit: If he is indeed "running" the site...

Of course he'd make it about money for the Foundation, too. Wonder if he got trade name permission to use "Wikipedia" on a .com domain name.
