It is worthwhile noting the close of that deletion discussion:

Kept: On Commons, we concern ourselves with two main issues. Firstly, and most importantly, only freely-licenced materials can be hosted here. Secondly, and once the freely-licenced aspect is met, materials must be within our scope; in particular the provision of educational media.

Reviewing the history of the file, prior to this DR, I see that the file has seen use on both English Wikipedia (en:Donkey punch) since 21 October 2010[7], and Spanish Wikipedia (es:Donkey punch) since 16 February 2011[8]. Whether other WMF projects use this image is not decided at Commons, but on local projects. Commons should not be used as a tool to skirt local project discussions on usability of media on those projects.

Having said that, there are potential copyright issues with this file, which will not be resolved by way of this DR. There is another DR underway at present, which will determine whether the underlying work on this particular file is kept or deleted. If deleted, this image as a derivative of that work, will also be deleted. If kept, as I noted to an editor here, there are alleged Encyclopedia Dramatica IRC logs which indicate that the uploader is not the "copyright" owner of this image. (Quote: [2010-10-21 05:43:18] <ptime> I'll list it as my own work). As the uploader is not an established member of the community, the image has been marked with {{No permission}}, which is going to require OTRS processing. Russavia is quite clearly saying that this image will be deleted soon, because they know the conditions that they set cannot be met (astute observers will note that these conditions are completely bogus and not applied to other images on Commons). Since they think they have found a way to delete the image, they don't have to agree with people who want the images deleted, which would be a problem for Russavia since they probably think this is another WR plot. Doubleplusgood.

It should be superimposed on both figures, actually.

However, finding a photo for the female figure for which Jimbo has the right facial expression might be tricky... He's always been good at avoiding the grimace-look when cameras are present.

I don't think we should kid ourselves about what's going on here. Wikipedia is teaching people how to abuse, torture and rape women, and they're not even trying to hide it anymore. Without the image, you could almost argue that the article was comical; with the image, it crosses the line. They never really had any shame to begin with, but now they're actively trying to impose an evil and malicious set of anti-values on society, consequences be damned.

All odd. Not being following this as I've not been involved with Wikipedia in an editing sense for years (or year and months, can't remember) and forgot my password for my account on this site. And the email address.

But enough woe is me.

One issue I have is an apparent "this doesn't actually happen" like donkey punch could, theoretically, become so well-known through Wikipedia and its related Google juice to then inspire enough real-world comment to get an article.

Not really the situation with donkey punch as the expression pre-dated Wikipedia and there was a motion picture made with the same title, but it does raise the issue of Wikipedia fulfilling its own prophecies by giving marginal/worthless/etc articles the promotion they need to then be mainstream and, lo and behold, worthy of a Wikipedia article.

The Snowballing (sexual practice) (T-H-L-K-D) article used to have an image of two women cum-swapping, even though the text described an act between a man and a woman. When the image was changed, so the man was the receiver, complaints went up, even though it now at least matched the text.

Go figure.
