Brandon Harris probably could have parlayed this brief Internet fame into a substantial bump in his personal income, had he ridden the meme in a Jimbo-esque way. (Appearances on "Attack of the Show", Tosh.0, Jimmy Fallon; selling T-shirts and coffee mugs; faux consulting/speaking engagements for tech conferences; etc.) But then, he's probably too devoted to the WMF to conceive of taking a 2-month hiatus to explore his inner stardom. WMF is all he knows now.

I believe that he is responsible for the http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MoodBar. The http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:FeedbackDashboard from this tool is interesting (not in the sense that the feeback is useful for identifying "promising new editors", but in the sense that it shows who is attracted to such facile gadgets).

In all seriousness, though, I believe he works on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Code/MediaWiki/author/bharris like the Article Quality Review thing, WikiLove, and the Editor MoodBar.
That would mean he's Sue Gardner's "fluffy pink kittens" implementation guy.
