If linking to Wikipedia stuff that you want known, if it's a
wikipedia.org/w/whatever link instead of a
wikipedia.org/wiki/whatever link, you change it into a
/wiki/ link!
/w/ links will not be indexed in any search engines due to
Wikipedia's robots.txt file which tells search engines what pages to ignore or bans some entirely.
The kind of pages that generally get these kind of links generally
also have a meta tag in the header with noindex,nofollow, so it's a waste of effort.
