I didn't realize it, but the Mike Lifeguard "lock" on Thekohser impacts my ability to participate in the German Wikipedia, as I have done in the past.

I am requesting Steward assistance with my account, here. If any of the WR faithful are regulars on the German Wikipedia, please lend a hand. German isn't my first language.

According to the block log, Pathoschild changed the block to let the local community decide.

Bingo. I need a local German bureaucrat to to rename my account, to get out from under the "global lock", then rename it back again, so that I can be "me" on the German Wikipedia, where I had been a contributor in good standing.
