Mattisse seems to be doing very, very well.

Perhaps it is my focus, but it seems to me that she has managed to find ways show plenty of evidence of SG allowing, and even encouraging, her to behave in ways that are significantly worse than anything they are condemning in the RFC - as long as her behaviour was of use to SG.

See I could never understand why Mattisse suddenly hit on myself, and an article I created with such irrational ferocity (which, as my later observations have shown me, was also uncharacteristic), a few weeks later (9 December 2007 - http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=...oldid=182498619 ). It felt personal, but I had never come across Mattisse before...made no sense.

However, about halfway through the arbcom process, I finally saw, and got to submit privately to the arbcom, some examples of the poison pen emails "TRCourage"/"A Kiwi"/"A.Spotted.Owl" had been posting around admins and others, including SandyGeorgia, to make any trouble she could for me, since at least 2006. (After this, arbcom conceeded, publicly that I had been seriously stalked.)

One of these poison pen emails (dated October 2006) alleged that three editors I have never even heard of before were my sockpuppets. One of those thus named was Cyborg Ninja (it goes without saying that, after 14 months, everybody involved was totally aware that this was a baseless allegation).

If Mattisse can show that SG's first approach to her, in late 2007, involved planting the suggestion that I was Cyborg Ninja...

If you say so. My read is that she's been given some very good advice to dial back the invective/conspiracy theories/disparagement a notch or 13. There isn't anyone on that RfC saying that isn't an issue. Whether she can take it or not is a different matter, I found the exchange on Risker's talk instructive.

You really ought to dial down your own invective/conspiracy theories/disparagement for that matter.

Would you mind a short explanation for those of us who (amazingly) haven't been following your case?

Arbcom banned you for one year last Jan 14. That won't be up till tomorrow, so I assume you haven't posted since then?

But then Rlevse shows up today to extend the ban to indefinite. I would have thought the whole purpose of a one-year ban is to see if you repeat the same thing again, after your time is served. Did you? And if so, how did you manage it? And if you managed it, couldn't you just shut up and edit someplace a long way away from the controvery (whatever it was) for awhile?

Could somebody summarize in 100 words here?

I think you have me confused with somebody else on that last and only "thing" you think you "know" about me.

But thanks for the info on what you did to get permabanned. Seems you went to Jimbo's talk page and (in contravention to the ban) stirred the pot on Jan 9 which was 5 days before your 1 year block was due to expire, with an IP sock post. Thus giving everybody all the ammo they needed right there to make the block permanent, and no need to discuss the issues at all.

I don't know if you have Asperger's or not, but if you were interested in the issues, that wasn't a very smart thing to do.

I don't know if you got what you wanted, but you certainly got what you asked for. Have a nice day.

I think I have gone out of my way to be downright "new age touchy feely" with him ( ) all things considered.

I think he just fails to understand that, even if I wanted it, honest discussion of "the issues" was never going to be an available option...

I had two choices:

1. I could walk, alone, into another set up, and another lynch mob that barely paid lip service to human decency, let alone policy, fact or fairness.
2. I could walk away...but "in peace" would depend upon finding a very final way to communicate that I would never have any interest in participating again.

As for the more general issues, at this stage there is an horrific level of corruption, hedgemony and bullying going on within Wikipedia...

...but what on earth can you expect from any community of that size? Particularly where almost all power and influence is held by anononymous, and thus personally unaccountable, individuals.

It is a shame that the vaunted "community of Wikipedia" can never for real, and is, instead, an extension of every school yard in every corner of the world where any kid who didn't "fit in" or kiss ass nicely enough becomes "the target".

That is just a particularly disgusting, part of the human condition...somebody should at least WANT to fight it...but not me, single handed. I have served my time as a "warrrior for justice"...these days I prefer more spiritual outlets...ideally the kind that have designer items on sale...or shoes...really beautiful shoes with sky high heels...
