As is evidently typical with modern conservative political figures, yet another Wikipedia BLP is being massaged to make the Candidate sound like a hero.
And other articles are being modified, to fit the stupid crap coming out of the Candidate's mouth.

This week: Michele Bachmann's teabagger fans are http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/06/28/bachmann-fans-float-wikipedia-edits-to-cover-candidate%E2%80%99s-recent-gaffes/.
As the Dump Bachmann blog has http://www.dumpbachmann.com/search/label/Wikipedia, her BLP has been a major target of "reality modification" for years.

These were caught quickly, because they were in the news.
But how many others aren't being caught at all?

(And look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michele_Bachmann_presidential_campaign,_2012 about her 2012 presidential campaign.

No surprise. Conservatives on the web have been quite organized lately. Some have recently gone so far as to http://dailycaller.com/2011/06/27/online-left-is-running-scared/

This stuff has about as much to do with reality as does the Super Bowl.

yeah, god forbid we actually judge politicians by whether they can get things done, and whether those things they get done are good. its amusing that bachman referred to "john wayne" yesterday when apparently 'john wayne gacy' was actually from waterloo, but its apparent that waterloo has a minor john wayne connection and its also apparent that its a stupid story no matter what. chris wallace is completely correct that bachman is a 'flake' but i'd rather heard it explained why that is the case instead of simply putting a label on her.

I'm amazed at the fervor of both sides when it comes to spending large amounts of time trying to save America by promoting their candidate in Wikipedia and besmirching their opponents. If Bachman starts to become a legitimate threat to Obama being elected for his second term, watch the battles that will break out on her article's talk page.

Bachmann calls herself a "truth teller"

Not so much...

Of course it's just as likely that the people trying to make J. Quincy a "founding father" are opposed to Mme. Bachmann's candidacy as they are to be for her election. History has demonstrated time and time again that a surefire way to get some extra press attention is to edit some Wikipedia article to relate in some way to a public figure or something said or done by a public figure. What better way to keep her gaff alive?

Twitter, specifically Kid in the Hall Dave Foley, is a twitter with Bachman's hubby being the biggest flaming self gayhater in the USA.

Don't tell Cirt about this one!....

And http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michele_Bachmann&action=historysubmit&diff=439267964&oldid=439262525. (Don't tell Mr. Victim though, or we'll never hear the end of it!)

Interesting problem, though - I don't think it's fair to assume that just because a man exhibits effeminate behavior, runs a "conversion clinic," and would actually marry someone like Michelle Bachmann, it necessarily means he's a closeted homosexual in denial. But in this case, straight though I am, it really is hard not to hope that it's true.

Meanwhile, how long before Marcus Bachmann has his own WP article? So far http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/delete&page=Marcus_Bachmann, but I figure the initial attempts will be within three days, tops.
