NawlinWiki: Was he the guy who killed analog TV?, I can't watch Leave It To Beaver anymore Options Rating

NawlinWiki has just abused the deletion function by deleting a swath of edits and page-move logs that do not meet the criteria for deletion. Here is his recent rampage: [1]. I will give some examples of the content he is removing from the logs and page history:

Now, aside from the "Talk:Density" log, how are any of these offensive enough to warrant redaction from the history pages and move logs? Most of them are not even offensive, such as the Jan Brewer one saying "Jan Brewer is awesome." In Wikipedialand, is "awesome" an insult?

In my opinion, NawlinWiki should be stripped of his administrator powers and banned for massive abuse of the revision deletion function. Any thoughts?

FWIW, other than the "easiest cure is to kill yourself" comment, I see no reason why they shouldn't have let those edit summaries stand. It's not like they do anything to prevent them, after all.

As for your calling for the assassination of "whoever legislated the mandatory digital television switchover law," that's likely to be so vague as to be essentially harmless. Maybe if you could name, say, ten people (or fewer) who were the prime movers in the US Congress then we might have something... just as a suggestion, I'd focus the search not on the "switchover," but rather the discontinuation of analog TV broadcasting. It's the government that calls it the "June 12, 2009 DTV Transition deadline"; they want you to think it's a switchover, and you've already fallen for it once. Get with the frickin' program, man!

This is the law, by the way. Find out who wrote it, who sponsored it, and especially who "shepherded it" through the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which is where most of the work took place. (I'd look it up myself, but I'm a little busy cleaning up after you at the moment.)

• Strip the other end and form a small noose with the copper.
• Shave your right ankle and attach the wire firmly to the shaven area. Duct tape it on tight.
• Get an aluminum ladder and extend it to the antenna.
• Climb up and adjust the antenna until it points to magnetic north, allowing for the pole shift in the last few years.
• Stay up long enough for electric potential to equalize.

My own retirement advisor uses America Funds-- a bunch of managed funds in which performance sucked so badly that they were beaten by unmanaged index funds the last couple of years. So I'm thinking of rolling over and eliminating the middleman. Managing investment funds is getting to be like playing Jeopardy against the IBM computer-- and ultimately for much the same reason. Only the "managers" make any money. You might as well spread it out over certain sector and foreign funds then *don't look* . I'd buy gold and bury it or something, but the game is rigged so you have to keep it with some kind of watched over 401k to get the tax and other benefits (like the zero-interest borrowing after the seasoning period). But THEY can't buy gold with it (for some reason that always has escaped me).

When you suffer cardiac arrest they'll run a code blue on you that will last 20 minutes and is designed to give people some practice in technique. Then, off you'll go to the morgue. Where, if nobody claims you, there's a low-budget plan in place for that contingency also.

Most managed funds are something close to a scam. Gold's probably topped off, is riskier than one might think and only looks good in retrospect - bit of a bubble there too.
