Omnipedia is a project to make the contents of all the various different language Wikipedias available in the language of your choice.

It's not available yet to the public, but they're making progress.

My first thought was that this would be useful in getting information on topics of little interest to English-speaking Wikipedians.

Next, I thought that it would be useful to get different viewpoints on topics where the Wikipedias I can read might be biased.

But then I realised that it will cause a perfect storm of edit wars. People who WP:OWN certain topics in English will realise that the correspponding articles in other languages don't reflect their POV and will try to alter them.
