This is one of the "old guard" guys and he's been blocked and has retired himself....

Looks like he lost it, à la JzG...But he gets his ass kicked on the way out the door :

QUOTE
Know what? You don't own Wikipedia. Wikipedia is what the various users make it and at the root of that it is always an encyclopedia. It's not a social networking site, as much as you'd like it to be. I don't care if you built the entire Wiki from the ground up using duct tape and baling wire. Your shrill, senseless rants here about "loss of community" and whatever else you're on about do not change the fact that you've broken policy, abused your position, and now are trying to save face. If Wikipedia is such a horrible place, why don't you stay retired instead of having a temper tantrum, scrambling your password, and then posting here under an IP? Frankly and in my opinion, you're behaving like a prima donna and I still don't understand how you were ever trusted with admin tools. Your backpedaling regarding your harassing me with a sockpuppet to prove a WP:POINT is inexcusable. No, it's not just a bad choice, it's a violation of a core policy. Your speedy closure of a legitimate discussion was out of process and a gross abuse of admin tools. Now you're here saying you did it all because "it's not fun anymore". TOUGH. Wikipedia is not here to be fun for YOU, it has many many users. If you had posted a polite note on my talk page asking me to change my signature instead of pulling the stunt you pulled, I probably would have changed it. But as it is now, as I have not broken ANY policies with my signature, and since I've registered a doppelganger account as requested, I will NEVER change it. On a related note :

"Nobody of Consequence" is actually User:The Parsnip! using a fancy sig, which can be seen here.. On his talkpage, we have this exchange :

QUOTE
Please stop using a misleading signature. - Nobody of consequence 04:09, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
So you know, there's a thread at WP:ANI about this. WODUP 05:42, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Yep. I created this account, incidently. Please change your signature. It's quite misleading at the moment. - Ta bu shi da yu 07:14, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

If you visit the User page of User:Nobody of Consequence, you see this :

QUOTE
* 2007-11-15T15:30:33 AuburnPilot (Talk | contribs) deleted "User:Nobody of consequence" ‎ (content was: '#REDIRECT User:The Parsnip!' (and the only contributor was 'AuburnPilot'))

Here are User:Nobody of Consequence's contribs...

It might be reasonable to assume that User;Nobody of Consequence is Ta bu shi da yu's sock and AuburnPilot is using "Nobody of Consequence/The Parsnip! as a sock...It is interesting that one is taking the name of the other....but that's not the really interesting part.

If you go to AuburnPilot's talkpage, you get this very interesting section about User.CBOrgatrope....of WR fame and the musical question :

QUOTE
Any idea why this user has taken to copying your talk page? smile.gif Looks like some kind of sock or something. --- RockMFR 06:40, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Um, this is all very strange. Does anybody have any idea what is going on here?

Now it's getting funny...

On AuburnPilot's talk page, User:Miesbu speaks up for the defense of CBOrgatrope, but since he/she is a self-admitted "secondary account" of another user, our dear friend JzG decides to block the account using the ever-popular Wikipedia Duck Test....

Morven, in his role as WikiSock hunter and Witch Doctor comments :

QUOTE
The editor's most obvious other account is not banned. However, checking through this editor's contributions, I don't see much positive being done. I am increasingly disapproving of this recent trend of editors creating second accounts to be argumentative with. I am therefore not going to unblock. Note that I am not warranting that this user is not a reincarnation of a blocked/banned user - simply that they have another account that is not currently banned and I haven't done the research far enough for anything else. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 01:26, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Meaning that Morven is going to continue his Witchhunt. If one adds the idea of a hunting witches to the idea of WP:Duck, one gets Monty Python's Holy Grail....

You just can't make this stuff up...When is JzG going to claim that Barber turned him into a newt?

I didn't think so either, but the fact that this name is connecting these two people (which seems rather like a taunt, in an odd sort of way....) and then it pops up here....and then given the state of, <ahem>, current events regarding CBOrgatrope, it all seems rather, um, interconnected somehow.
