QUOTE(Selina @ Wed 15th February 2012, 6:29am) *

I wasn't meaning to be mean mbz1, I mean that, it's not really your fault I can tell you just don't realise how other people see the actions you do unhappy.gif I hope you are able to learn in time because you seem like you at least believe you do the things you do because you think they are right, you're not an evil person like some are trying to make out.

If you are able to, maybe you should consider appealing your block but with an interaction ban and topic ban on anything to do with Gwen Gale, as I think you got kind of fixated and using her as a focus for your anger when there were other issues too. YI saw the stuff on your userpage and it's obvious that other than this you can contribute good things.

Selina, I was executed by a very dirty and a very cowardly, and mostly anonymous lynch mob without even giving an opportunity to say anything in my defense. No user, but vandals, pedophiles, racists, etc should be ever treated like that.
But the lynch mob is not done with me yet. Now they want to global ban me and even call me "a criminal" and suggest I might be taken to the court of law. (Besides everything else they are also idiots smile.gif )
Selina, if you believe I would even consider getting close to that place ever again, you are daydreaming.

I am proud of submitting RFC. I stood up against bullying, and became a victim of bullying myself.

All I did was providing the differences to explain why less than 2 months ago admin Guerillero had this to say: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=...oldid=467417178

QUOTE
I was pulled all the way to a strong oppose per the anti-ethos of two of the three nominators. Neither MONGO nor Gwen Gale instill any trust in me. Guerillero | My Talk 23:55, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
and if you and others did not like the language I used (I agree there are problems with this), you should have realized my English is very limited. My language could and should be fixed, but my evidences should have been considered, and there was no any deformation , not even anything close to deformation in my evidences.

Aww, this is cute:
wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Mbz1#Picture_use_notification smile.gif

I hope it's real, I googled Etamin Studio and it looks legit, but there's no way of knowing they are genuinely them on your page, be wary if they send you a file I'd normally say check it on virustotal.com but that doesn't work for mobile phone viruses lol it could also be this guy... (look at "Night Ranger"'s contributions at the bottom) trying to trick you into downloading a virus/getting your personal info... but more than likely real smile.gif awwhh smile.gif

I still think you should appeal itand topicban yourself from gwen gale, it's ridiculous for them to kick someone who's contributed so much positive stuff even if you did get into arguments now and then

Thank you, Selina! This is real, and it is not the first time I am getting such requests from National Geographic to professors from Russia to Antarctica.
Here's my talk before it was redirected
When I google my name I get tens of thousands of hits, but nothing matters.
I dared to speak up against protected admin, and was crushed by the system.

Another peculiar detail is that night ranger voted to support the ban, and was the one, who closed the discussion, but nobody cares.

And now there is a proposal to close META, and screams "the WMF should involve itself, perhaps by the means of a board resolution, if nothing else", and absolutely idiotic post at en.wikipedia AN that is not about en.wikipedia, but about meta

Meta admins long used to running that place like a feudal estate had no idea what to do when called out. And all of this is going on because of RFC I filed at Meta!

I only wish I filed my RFC on en.wiki instead. Hopefully then they would have filed a proposal to close en.wiki too, and desysop half of their bullies biggrin.gif

Anyone wants to try it, and see, if it will work out? tongue.gif

Looks like they're starting the witch hunt on the meta admins. If they can't punish them on meta, at least maybe they can ban them on WP! laugh.gif

I am surprised that so far nobody updated Wikipedia:Meta (T-H-L-K-D). What is going on around Meta and around my RFC in particular is notable enough to be mentioned in the article.

weren't you already banned from wikipedia already? im trying to understand what you were actually banned for. i dont see any diffs in the link.

if mbz1 is the standard for community banned then many editors should be getting the shaft as well, including several admins.

but of course that will never happen.

You are right, there was no any differences. I was banned for alleged harassment, but neither members of govcom nor the users who supported the ban read my RFC, and altough I asked them to provide some specific differences of the alleged harassment I was refused, or simply ignored., but I did get an interesting feedback from WMF employee . He looked at tens of idiotic blocks Gwen imposed, and found a single one to complain about.I happily explained to him why this block was unwarranted and he shut up.

QUOTE

Comments by Philippe (WMF)

Really? w:User:Nextbook is the example you want to use? I agree with that block, 100%. Philippe (WMF) 04:20, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for the comment, Philippe (WMF).
Yes, I would like to use this example and here's why:
1. A new editor made a few contributions.
2. He is warned he has to use sources.
3. So in his next two edits he tries to use sources. In this edit he provides not just one, but three sources almost for every sentence he adds, but he does it like this "(Marks, "Lost Paradise", page 292.) " because he is not sure what is the right way to list references. In his next and the last edit he inserts the external link to the article in Guardian, which of course is a reliable source.
4. The user is blocked and never returns.
So, IMO Gwen Gale at least failed to assume a good faith towards new user. Also she was edit warring with him before the block. Maybe there was not enough involvement, but this was a wrong block of a new user, who should have been helped not blocked. May I please ask you to clarify why you said you'd supported the block? Thanks.--Mbz1 04:50, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
BTW I did find the book the user referred to. It is a reliable source that was published by Free Press.--Mbz1 04:57, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Do you still "agree with that block, 100%"?--Mbz1 16:53, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

(there was no response although I asked him the same question at his talk too. )

Nobody else commented on the content, nobody pointed out a harassment, but I was banned.

There were a few honest and absolutely uninvolved admins and users from Meta and other projects that stated there was no harassment
QUOTE
I canĀ“t see any harrasement in this request, just links provided to public logs and talks. Already the first request for deletion was rejected because of that, so please stop posting it over and over again. Thanks. --WizardOfOz talk 07:32, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

BTW here's an interesting point: If one says there were no harassment, one should not provide a differences to support his statement. If one says there was harassment, at least one difference is required.
Anyway there was absolutely nothing to ban me for, but I have a good idea what a dirty game played by WMF lead to this ban.

I thought you didn't care that you were banned and were happy to be gone from wikipedia? Almost everything you've said here since you were banned on AN/I tells a totally different story.

Well, community ban and blocks are different. I was not going to go to wikipedia ever again. I am happy I left. I did not care, if it was a self-requested block or a block by arbcom, but community ban hurt me, not because now I could never return (I was not going to return anyway), but it makes me sad to be banned like that. It was not only unneeded and unfair. It was also very cruel.

We have a support group here. evilgrin.gif

but yes Wikipedians are high level internet trolls and they do know how to push those buttons, take a nice person and make them feel and behave like an obsessed loser.

You just have to accept that there is nothing you can say that will make you win. No perfect argument. No brilliant explanation. Nothing. You are banned, therefore you are less than. An imperfect person, not quite a human being anymore.

Sorry about that.

If I were offered right now to change my place in Wikipedia with any one who voted to support the ban or with any of the members of govcom, I would have refused.
I'd better be the one who's getting lynched than a part of a lynch mob.

This sort of thing amuses me. I have no idea about the merits of mbz1's case against the administrator, or the case against mbz1 for bringing the case, although I have my suspicions. But is it really possible for anybody in his right mind to get all broken up about being kicked out of the Wikipedia insane asylum? I mean, they're so ridiculously self-important, when they aren't acting like trolls, and show no sense of grace, humanity, or even style. Admins and even rank-and-file contributors go around making high-sounding declarations and announcements, as if they were government officials dispensing court orders. And then, if you really want to keep working on the wiki, nothing is stopping you from making a new account and getting back to work, instantly, as everybody knows. It's ridiculous. In fact, the complexity of the ridiculousness is mind-boggling, and would take a very complicated essay to tease out. Evidently mbz1 isn't actually upset about being blocked, and is taking a sensible attitude. I was blocked, and voted to be blocked myself, but they voted to unblock me anyway. Go figure!

It's a live action Star Trek roleplaying game.
It's been going on for years now and the CalvinBall rules have morphed with the time passing.

Nobody who has power in this system wants to take a chance of having to reacquire hard won skills and position if the rules were suddenly to change, even to a more sane revision.

The inherent inertia of the wikipedia "elite" is what will prevent anything short of a coup by the foundation.

I wonder if Sue Gardner even remotely realizes how damaged her career is by association with wikipedia. Can you imagine anyone ever hiring her in the future with this on her resume? She has acquired her own golden handcuffs.

Until there is some form of formal identification required by the editor and, especially, the admin/functionary base, this nonsense will prevail unabated.

Given the negative attention that would inevitably result to some of the worst, yet highest placed, people, this is a non starter with the current governance structure.
