_ Biographies of Living Persons _ Blatant BLP vandalism: Philip Zlotorynski

Posted by: A Horse With No Name

I raised this issue here some time ago, but the chieftains of Jimboville are still allowing this vandalism to take place.

The article on filmmaker http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Zlotorynski is a total lie. I know both Mr. Zlotorynski and Chris Gore and they are not the same person. Mr. Zlotorynski has complained to me in the past about this kind of crap and it is sad to see it continuing.

If anyone from the mothership is reading this, I hope they can restore the article and put it under some sort of protection.

Looks like Cometcaster fixed that one up for you.

Thank you, Cometcaster - whoever you are.

Now, can someone please put some sort of protective lock on the article? It has been vandalized a number of times and I suspect it will happen again.

Meanwhile in the UK anonymous defamation to be banned:

Cometcaster has already requested protection for the article at WP:AN/I, and here's the first and only response so far:

Yes, but if Zlotorynski is only a pseudonym as the article claimed, are they still subject to the "protection" conferred by WP:BLP?

I'm guessing that the article is going to remain unprotected.

ugh, just seeing this thread. there is a single whacko out there who keeps trying, over the past few years, to keep screwing with that article and chris gore related articles.

but i'm not surprised that the vandal is some kind of comics/indie film nut.
