_ Biographies of Living Persons _ Sam Vaknin

Posted by: It's the blimp, Frank

I ran across the BLP of Vaknin because I noticed that Will Beback was deleting material sourced to him in other articles, which is always a sign that something is going on. Looking at the history of his bio, I see that at one time he was a critic of Wikipedia, but no more, thanks to http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sam_Vaknin&diff=next&oldid=422210297. Classic! In fact, the SlimVirgin/Will Beback team was fully in play at this article. Why is that? There appears to be a http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=Sam+Vaknin+larouche, although it is never mentioned on the talk page. Can anyone shed some light on the backstory for this?

Regardless of the LaRouche connection, the info about him and WIkipedia in the article wasn't really noteworthy and seems as if Wikipedia is giving undue weight to info about itself. Other than removing that section, Slim didn't really change much else, she really did just tidy the article.

So I think this one is a bit of a stretch.

I'm still wondering why SlimVirgin and Will Beback are showing so much interest in this bio. That's my actual question.

That I have no idea. LaRouche connection does seem possible.
