Thanks to blissyu2 for bringing http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:David_Gerard&diff=48810297&oldid=48810036 to my attention; this BS by David Gerard, just goes to show the level of misinformation that Wikipedia spouts -- David, of course, is one of the people who voted to ban me for 'vandalizing' User:198s page, even though User:198 testified that I never did so.

Apparently I'm 'severely moderated' here, Im the head honcho at Wiki-truth (the first sentence of his post, "It appears to be the work of Lir" is part of a discussion about Wiki-Truth), and Im banned from ED even though I don't edit there (apparently, from what I've heard, David has been harassing users at ED and claiming they are me -- which is utter nonsense, but whatever) -- oh, and I guess I bitch chronically here about David's writing on Uncyclopedia; hey, is anyone aware of even one post that I have ever made -in any forum- in regards to David's writing, on Uncyclopedia or anywhere? http://www.wikitruth.info/images/f/fe/David_Gerard_mugshot.jpg

David, with his incompetent research, is an arbitrator at Wikipedia, and exemplifies their best and brightest.

I'd put higher odds on Gerard himself being behind it. He's full of mocking contempt for others, and I've never observed him to have a clearly thoughtful and honest viewpoint on anything--nothing but sneering derision and remarks about how obvious everything is. His personality fits Wikitruth pretty well.

I'll agree that he is involved, but whether he is the ring leader is another matter.

If you've been following Grace Note, there's not much doubt that Grace Note is involved either.

There never was a User:Lir on ED. Someone did create the userpage, but mostly to spam links to... somewhere. I don't know where, because Jacknstock deleted the page before I ever saw it, but I assume that one of the links was to Brandt's Hivemind page, because Jacknstock also removed that link from [[http://encyclopediadramatica.com/index.php/The_Wikipedia_Review]]



I thought that was Uncyclopedia? I'm fairly regular on ED, and haven't seen any evidence that David Gerard edits there. If he did edit there, he'd almost certainly have been banned, because of the nature of ED, and the nature of Gerard. David Gerard is, however, quite active on Uncyclopedia (sysop, sadly), so I wouldn't put it against him that he was accusing users of being you.

I made "User:Lir" after I saw David Gerard's claims about him. I can't remember what I said, but it wasn't much. I think it was along the lines of "David Gerard claims that Lir is banned from here, but he doesn't even have an account!". I think they should have kept it, but hey, I don't really care.

it's also pretty scary when you open a tab, read a couple of other topics, come back to this one when finished and then after clicking you suddenly get that face filling up your screen... goddamn...

Yeah, I think its fair that we have a rule that any overly large photos get changed in to links. If the person posting them can crop them down then fine, but otherwise, they'll be changed. We can still click on the link just fine so that's no problem, it just stuffs up the formatting. Same deal with overly long links. I was linking to a ridiculously long webpage name in a post earlier and it stuffed up the posts too.
