Interesting article, but I think that he's dead wrong here.

Knol is going to be peer-reviewed content written by experts.

Wikipedia is a collection of "what everybody knows" written by teen-agers and power-tripping nerds.

Plus, this guy thinks that WMF is the "not-for-profit" "parent" of Wikipedia, suggesting he thinks that Wikipedia is "for profit". Perhaps he's confusing "Wikipedia" with "Wikia"?
