Strange, the Hive Mind has been removed from Google search. It's still #1 with Yahoo! and with Bing, though. Anyway, I'll bite. The admins whom I think ought to be exposed are: KnightLagoFramRyulongCrum375Orlady (basically because I know who she is, and "your tax dollars at work" comes to mind) PschempEast718CirtThe AnomeQUOTE(Eva Destruction @ Wed 21st July 2010, 7:08am) It's lost it's original...

The admins whom I think ought to be exposed are:
Pschemp
Why, what did she do? A few years ago, her frequent meltdowns were amusing, but she seems pretty demure these days. Her name is Patricia Schempp, she's on Facebook. This gives you a flavor of her dismissive hurtfulness. And here she was trying to scuttle my run for Arb Com. Here's where she started to turn the corner for me, though. I just remember her own posting of her field hockey photo, and she looked feisty. Of course, somehow that photo got oversighted, since some information doesn't want to be as free as other information. She'd be a good addition to the Hive Mind. EDIT: Oh, there was one other classic moment with Pschemp. As a ruse, I put the wikitext of the Aaron's, Inc. article from Wikipedia onto my early paid-editing Wikipedia Review site. That made it look like Aaron's was possibly a paying client of mine. (Of course, they weren't.) The test worked flawlessly, leading Pschemp (who was snooping around my site to try to "catch" paid editing clients) to nominate the article for deletion. Look at the result, for a chuckle. Funny, I didn't know anyone spoke Esperanto anymore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto_WikipediaWell the Polish one doesn't look too bad; it puts Daniel in a reasonably favourable light. I think I remember much worse stuff in the English version. And as for Esperanto, no doubt there are Wikipedia enthusiasts who've learnt it specially so there can be yet another glorious Wikipedia. No doubt Daniel's outed lots of people. However, considering the alleged reason for Hivemind thare are far too many people on it who have never hidden their identities. Also, people should come off it once they cease to be active admins.

Okay, here we go again: Daniel Case (guy who has made at least one edit pretty much every day since his adminship [with the exception of last Christmas Day], and has, on at least one occasion, yelled at people who have made unblock requests) FisherQueen (lesbian [yes, I'm serious; she has even admitted it herself] who is very sarcastic and responds to insults with humour [for example, in response to being called a "son of a bitch", she said "I am not a son of a bitch; I am the bitch herself." No, really, she said that.] And she has her own block template that remarks that any user she has blocked has requested to be blocked.) Heimstern Läufer (guy with unclear nationality, due to his username, his alternation between Commonwealth and US spellings, and other issues; is he American, German, Chinese, British, or Israeli?) Jéské Couriano (not sure if he qualifies, though, since he is no longer an admin) (always being aggressive with everyone, and suffers Asperger's Syndrome [yes, I'm serious, he has even admitted it himself]) KieferSkunk (twat. Especially with that username; why would someone become an admin with a dirty username like that?) Luna Santin (even bigger twat. Especially with a feminine-sounding username [despite having self-identified as male], as well as referring to everyone as "they", "them", or "their", regardless of whether that person's gender is obvious, and using commas in places they don't need to be used) MuZemike Smashville Soxred93 (kid whose bot is always editing Wikipedia, even when he's not; that bot blanks the Wikipedia Sandbox every 30 minutes or so) Tiptoety (the one I hate the most. No sense of humour, always giving out unfair blocks, very greedy with adminship on a lot of Wikimedia projects ... just see a couple of threads in Bureaucracy for more of my opinion of this fucking jerk.) QUOTE(Lar @ Sat 24th July 2010, 1:34am) Those are your reasons? Seems to be rather focusing on personal traits rather than actual grievances. Like I said, needs more cowbell. No one deserves to be on Hivemind, but especially not merely because some random thinks their username is funny. I'm afraid I have to agree - Mr. Rick should try to show us evidence of irrational opposition to much-needed reforms; link to their use of histrionics, strawmen, and needlessly hyperbolic statements to "win" arguments; show us blocks and deletions in support of an ideological agenda. Bear in mind that there's little need to know who an admin is if he/she isn't exhibiting some fairly clear signs of a real (not just Wikipedia-defined) conflict of interest, or issue advocacy that goes beyond mere agreement with one side or another. Particularly if the topic areas he/she is working on are socially significant in some way. Then again, as I often say, we can't dismiss the possibility that some admins want their identities to become known, if only for the thrill of believing that someone actually cares about who they are. As for the two for whom Mr. Rick didn't give us any reasons at all, I'd have to say Smashville (T-C-L-K-R-D)
does seem somewhat rude and declines a lot of unblock requests... but ultimately he's not all that bad, and he mostly sticks to sports-related subjects - so he's not much of a threat to corrupt the minds of the young or anything like that. Meanwhile, MuZemike (T-C-L-K-R-D)
is one of those "sock puppet investigator" types, nearly all of whom are unpleasant to some degree. But that doesn't mean there's any real need to know who he is, unless some of the aforementioned behaviors apply (and if they do in his case, I'm not really seeing it?)...

QUOTE(MZMcBride @ Sat 24th July 2010, 2:41am) So... Rick is the sedated version of VoC? Maybe, but I suspect Mr. Rick is merely representative of the sort of person we've been seeing a bit more of lately, someone who has recently become disenchanted with Wikipedia after trying for a while to be a participant there, but who has yet to see past Wikipedia's internally-defined conception of what makes a "good editor" - and, in more general terms, what defines a person as "beneficial." In other words, he hasn't yet made the conceptual leap required to see that someone Wikipedia would define as "beneficial" is actually someone society in general would define as "non-beneficial," if not "malevolent." I, for one, hope that Mr. Rick will quickly gain a fuller understanding of the larger issues involved, and be less concerned with "petty" and "silly" issues involving payback for various personal slights and so forth. I'd also be curious to know what his favorite breakfast cereal is, but that's only because I'm thinking of making a switch myself and need recommendations.

Wow, what a coincidence, you're right! I do have Asperger's! No, really, I do! What a surprise. Not that have or don't have the condition but that you would publicly claim so. Simon Baron-Cohen (arguably the world expert on Aspergers Syndrome) has developed an instrument for measuring where one lies along the continuous spectrum from Aspergers Syndrome (AS) to Neurotypical (NT). When I took his test (which is based on associating affective emotional states with pictures of facial expressions focusing on just the eyes), I fell smack in middle, halfway between AS and NT. So I'm neither Aspergers nor Neurotypical. You might say I'm Half-Aspergers.

It's happened before, you know.

QUOTE(Rick @ Wed 1st September 2010, 10:41am) Just do it, please, Brandt. Tiptoety, who is greedier than Google, Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, and Microsoft combined, has finally gotten the job he wants, so he more than definitely deserves to be on Hivemind now. I'm sick of seeing the list end at BD2412 all the time.
Tiptoety, isn't he the semi-mythical fifth Teletubby, the one who left the group just before they hit the bigtime?

Get. Help. QUOTE(Rick @ Mon 25th October 2010, 4:01am) Hurry up, Brandt. The list has ended at BD2412 for months now. The admins I mentioned definitely deserve to be on Hivemind now. This long wait feels like the H*R hiatus now. Rick: You are deranged. Please seek medical help. You're being drawn further and further into your own delusions. Finally, my name is not Anonymous Editor.

And what was your name? (IMG: smilys0b23ax56/default/ermm.gif) Anonymous editor's WR user profile used to deceptively link to wikipedia's Anonymous editor, who is still an admin, despite not having edited with that account in over four years.

QUOTE(Cock-up-over-conspiracy @ Thu 28th October 2010, 7:27pm) Rick, did you ever tell us what Tiptoety did to you? I cannot remember.
Your fixation is an embarrassment even to this already over-fixated forum ... and how old are you?
Folks, have we decided if this guy is for real or not?
To Start, Tiptoety (T-C-L-K-R-D)
is a punk maggot. An enabler of the filth and evil on wikipedia. An arrogant little man/child warped up to ideas that every one should bow down and kiss his ass. To Tipoety... show me, here, why you are not a little man rat wikipdiot. I wait for your reply, assuming you got the nads to show your rat face here. QUOTE(CharlotteWebb @ Mon 8th November 2010, 11:24pm) Actually, he's right there, with a look that screams "I know there's a plane, boss—but what am I?" (IMG: smilys0b23ax56/default/wacko.gif) I remember seeing him now, but I think my mind has blanked him out every time I've looked at it since. Not sure what you said, but like the song link.
