However, they are not hidden from automobile engines, including the newer, more "environmentally-friendly" electric and hybrid engines. Also, please note that this subforum is meant to be used for discussion of the actual biographical articles themselves; more generalized discussions of BLP policy should be posted in the General Discussion or Bureaucracy forums.

Jocelyn Wildenstein may manage to get her article deleted; then again, she may not, given the large number of people who think we should be constructing a encyclopedia of Fortean/Ripley-esque freaks.

Well, she's not an (attempted) child molester, so she probably won't get the special treatment afforded to Brian Peppers.

Well, apparently it's hard to keep a good freak show article down.

So Wikipedia is now hosting material that belongs in a reality TV show?

It's like the callousness of wild dogs tearing apart a gazelle -- they know not what they do. I get the feeling that silver isn't young enough for there to be hope that an awakening of human dignity lies in his future.

It is well understood that the gene for empathy in young male morons doesn't express itself until age 25, if ever.

If he's really 20 then there's some slight hope. The alternative is horrible to contemplate.

So I take it you haven't seen the video of the incident then?

"Fucking horrible" doesn't quite cut it.

There are plenty of copies of the video on YT, but all marked 18-over only. For good reason.

But hey! Wikipedia's got an article, complete with uncensored video!

QUOTE
Previously, there have been incidents in China, such as the Peng Yu incident in 2006,[9][10] where Good Samaritans who helped people injured in accidents were accused of having injured the victim themselves. Some commentators have explained that this may have caused people to fear getting in trouble for doing the right thing, thus failing to help.[2]

That happens in the US also--neither country has a general "Good Samaritan" law.

There shouldn't need to be one.

It's events like this that gives my general dislike of humankind validation.
