QUOTE(gomi @ Fri 24th June 2011, 12:29am) *

You're not missing anything. And if you read further, you'll see that Slim didn't want Alison involved (why are two witnesses worse than one?) and that once Kinney started objecting to Slim's courtroom tactics ("Isn't it true that ..."), Slim decided Kinney was biased and must be "recused". What a piece of work!

Perhaps Slim thinks that Alison is biased when it comes to Cirt. I don't know where she would have gotten that idea. Alison, Diego Grez, Nishkid, Godwin, an Anonymous spokesperson, and an ex-Scientologist? Cirt keeps interesting company...

She never did say why. Cirt just approached me in email and asked would I be a party to the conversation. I said 'sure' but Slim wasn't having it. In retrospect, it's clear why she wasn't, given the ensuing conversation. I never actually expected to hear of this again ....

Yeah, well. Slimmy knows her "politico" games. As if that was a big surprise bored.gif

The problem is that Cirt hardly comes across as Snow White. As uncle Milty noted:
QUOTE(Milton Roe @ Fri 24th June 2011, 12:09am) *
QUOTE(Cirt)
Corbin Fisher - I came by this article organically, through my interest in the U.S. Supreme Court Case, called Hustler Magazine v. Falwell. That Supreme Court case was cited in another ongoing case at the time, Beck v. Eiland-Hall, an article I successfully took to WP:GA status. Through research on one of the free speech lawyers from that case, I improved the article on attorney Marc Randazza. After performing research on that article, I came by the topic of Corbin Fisher.

If indeed Randazza asked Cirt to create the article on Fisher, the above is totally a lie.
ohmy.gif

Well, it depends on what the meaning of "is" is, eeeh, of "organically" is?
I am a bit handicapped here, as English is not my native (or everyday) language. But in my (limited) English "organically" is used about cultivation methods for edible products. Can the meaning of that word be "stretched"/expanded to encompass: "Out of our communications for the OTRS confirmation, Marc Randazza mentioned about the possibility of a new article for Corbin Fisher"?
To me, that is hard to swallow. dry.gif
But again; I leave the final judgement on that to "the Natives".

What really stinks, though, is this:

Sarah,
I have a family member in serious surgery today, and another close
family member going into serious surgery later this week.

Would it be possible for you to extend me a bit of good faith in light
of the stress I have been under lately, and especially with regard to
all of the good faith efforts I have made towards you in response to
your comments addressed to me on Wikipedia?

Hmm.
Poor, poor Cirt.
And while Cirt could not respond due to "the stress I have been under lately"... editing wikipedia in the same period is of course ok! wtf.gif

This is just plain stupid.
Next time Cirt is in a tight spot, and cannot respond due to "my whole family was wiped out in a tornado/tsunami/earthquake", or whatever,...expect roars of laughter from WR troll members. dry.gif

Nonetheless, that is a legitimate usage of the word, if not, perhaps, for a legitimate purpose. "Organic" can mean Resembling a living organism in organization or development. It is said of a classical musical composition that it develops "organically" if each musical idea is a recognizable outgrowth of the ideas which proceed it.

I hope I was able to clarify that for you. Meanwhile, Cirt is still a charlatan.

Yeah, I'm afraid it can be read in no other sense than "one thing led naturally to another, as I was editing away." It doesn't include somebody stepping in and asking you to fix an article.

N.B.: Ms. Marsden asking Jimbo if there was anything he could do about her WP BLP, before they got down to the serious business of screwing in a hotel room, is very BIOLOGICAL. But in this sense, I don't think qualifies as "organic." Some would argue that one idea and action "flows naturally" from the other, but you'd have be very very cynical to think that way. ermm.gif huh.gif wink.gif

The thing about SlimVirgin is that everything she accuses others of doing is something that she has done / is doing / will do in the future.

She sees her own behavior and motivations and can't help but assume that everybody else is the same way.

I see it in a somewhat different light. I think her actions are typically preemptive strikes. Her accusations against others, whether they be guilty, as is the case of Cirt, or innocent, are intended to intimidate anyone who might be tempted to say "boo" when the time comes for Slim to indulge in exactly the same illicit behavior.

Here's an important WikiTip: when you attack others, you are protecting the project from disruptive users. If someone attacks you, it's WikiHounding.

Well put; that should be at [[wp:{cute-name}]]

That's vintage Hubbard, really. He called it "dead agenting". Always deflect attention from your own misdeeds, and attack the attacker.

It's got to be older than that; back to pre-history. And it's the root of most claims of harassment; change the subject off of one's self.
