"Consensus" means agreeing with the powerful ones.
Yes, my worry is that this new policy will make it easier for policemen like AGK to repress content on Wikipedia.
This is AGK, a
Roman Catholic, trying to stop Joe Decker from editing on the Roman Catholic paedophilia scandals (his obsessive hounding of my associate the "sock puppeteer" Rinpoche no doubt similarly motivated; Rinpoche was blocked (eventually to be banned) because of his rather agressive defence
of an article he contributed about sexual abuse in Western Buddhist orders - link is to a WayBack archive of the article):
== NOTICE ==
This is a Warning from The Wikipedia RC Patrol.
Please stop adding sexually explicit content and nonsense to Wikipedia.
Further attempts to do so will result in implications against your user account.
Thank you
In this case when we try to check
the progress of this naked threat (Joe Decker is a respected editor and administrator), we find
the whole episode is revision deleted on AGK's talk page.
I do fear we will be seeing a lot more of this kind of thing.
