It had been in there without objection since August, until you started reverting on November 11, and practically all your contribs there seem to be reverts. I have much respect for both ID and SV. For the most part, ID is an honest and fair editor in comparison to the heated I/P environment. SV is a quality editor and has contributed positively to important articles (such as the Palestinian exodus).

But unfortunately, she can be very possessive and controlling. Without her admin status, she would now have an extensive block list.

The ID/SV conflict seems civil enough, at least compared to Nab and all his foes.

SV has a point, and IronDuke's burnout is beginning to look a but like Can't Sleep, Clown Will Eat Me's burnout. At some point, teh Burnouter just reverts goodfaith edits without comment, and then finally does nothing but block clear vandals, which is the last brainstem function of a Wikipedian.* That's like HAL getting his personality-circuits pulled in 2001, or what happens to your intellect on Mt. Everest after you climb into the death zone and all your higher functions disappear because there's no oxygen for them. Finally, at the end, you're just slogging along as a functional reptile. Of course, none of us are missing the irony of having somebody delete SV's negative comments from their TALK page, as soon as they are put up. I think SV actually invented that variation of the Wikigame. Ironpuke probably learned by watching her.

It's a new one on me. Doesn't it sort of violate WP:CIVIL? TALK pages are public and part of WP, you know. If Cla68 did that to IronDuke, IronDuke would have a hissyfit.

Cmon, ID isnt anywhere close to the top of the list of the worst of the Protectors of The Greatest Nation In The Universe group, I dont think he is even on that list. But this kerfuffle has nothing to do with I/P. ID's focus has always been on issues related to antisemitism, whether "new" or (what I call) "real". Yes, he has gotten involved in issues related to the I/P conflict (Muhammad al-Durrah, Apartheid, some others but those are the big ones) but not nearly enough for him to be called one of the worst of the partisans.
