But if you're going to give bogus answers like you did to important issues confronting Admins today, then there's no reason for you to be an admin. Although you're entitled to your opinions to my suitability, I don't appreciate being referred to as "another kid who has a fetish for video games". I realise that the area most of my past work is in involves what some people may see as the bastard-child of the arts and technology, and don't see them as traditional encyclopedia topics, but that has no affect on my judgement. Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Very nice of you all. I'll probably be back sooner or later, and I doubt I can go totally cold turkey, but I need a break. The alternative is go out in a blaze of glory, which I'm not quite ready to do yet. Good grief. It's too bad that FT2 screwed up the ArbCom case against OM, because otherwise his behavior might be under control by now. I'd say it's just a matter of time before he's brought before the Committee again. I don't think the new Committee will be as likely to impose some vague "mentorship" by JPGordon as a remedy.

Ugh. The time lost on that failed case. That could have been so good if done right.

After her recent http://antisocialmedia.net/lecture1/player.html in that Wordbomb presentation thing I'd be surprised if she shows her face here or anywhere else again. Not that she ever showed her face, of course, but you know what I mean.

Regarding OrangeSnarlin - I wonder how he'd react to a spot of good old Maoist cultural-revolutionist criticizing? Say, someone starts a thread on his talkpage entitled "OrangeSnarlin, We Hate Your Guts And You Are An ARSE!" after which everyone piles in and states all the reasons why they can't stand him? I think he'd take it like a man and behave well afterwards no problem. Really.

MastCell has been "leaving" since... 2009? He has had some sign on his user page bemoaning his trials and tribulations on wikipedia, talking about taking a break, retiring, leaving, whatever for a long time (years, I guess).

and yet, going into 2011, he is still an administrator with all the associated extended powers.
