Soon

I'm disappointed in Grace note, before I went to sleep last night he was sounding quite reasonable, and I was actually going to give him moderator like he requested .. but yeah now he comes and insults everyone and acts like a dick as usual, I don't know what the hell his problem is.

Oh don't even consider giving Grace Note moderator. The question should be whether or not to ban.

In my opinion, if he posts as "Grace Note" then we should give him a fresh start. After all, he was banned essentially for what he said about Igor, and that seems to have been basically right. Wrong way to go about it, but yeah maybe enough to give another chance. New forum, new chance.

Last night he was being quite nice in emails - but unfortunately it seems he's gone back to his old self. I looked at the posts by him that deleted when I woke up, so yeah. It's funny how he accuses everyone except him of being a troll, when quote "I'm a much better troll than anyone else"

Grace Note seems to go one way then the other and its hard to tell if its more spying and playing people against each other or an actual psychiatric or at least psychological disturbance. I'm going with schizophrenia.

I've seen some e-mails he exchanged with another user. Looks to me like some sort of mental disturbance, but not schizophrenia.

Well I am no expert on schizophrenia, but his behaviour is very similar to a lot of schizophrenics I've known. Could be something else though I suppose. When I first talked to Grace Note I thought that he was just pretending, just pretending to be nice to admins when really he hated them, and so forth. Grace Note doesn't seem to have a stable moral code. Like most people have philosophies and ethics that they live their life by (whether they write them down or acknowledge them or not) but Grace Note doesn't seem to. He goes from one idea to another in a snap, betrays friends at the drop of a hat and sides with enemies without a moment's notice, with no sound basis for anything.

Now I suppose that that could just be a choice, but it very much looks liks schizophrenia to me. If its not, then what diagnosis would it be?

Definitely something wrong with him, he has mood swings all over the place constantly

Manic depression? Do you think? Hmm. But that's supposed to be when you are happy happy then sad sad.

Actually come to think about it, you might be right. Thank you Dr. Lir.

But there's medication and mood stabilisers you can take for that. Its quite a common thing to have. Maybe he refuses to be diagnosed? If it is true, then it'd be interesting to see what he's like medicated, if he is easier to deal with.

Bipolar/Manic Depressive Disorder isn't quite like that. People with Bipolar don't regularly have such drastic mood swings; rather, they are depressed for part of the year, and hyperactive for another part. Symptoms are somewhat seasonal, in other words.

Far be to me to offer a diagnosis based on someone's correspondence on teh intarweb, but this type of mood swing behaviour would better be explained by Borderline Personality Disorder. (I am not a psychiatrist, but I've seen enough of them that I've got a broad understanding.)

Not necessarily, there is rapid cycling bipolar which is... well, rapid cycling.
