However, they are not hidden from automobile engines, including the newer, more "environmentally-friendly" electric and hybrid engines. Also, please note that this subforum is meant to be used for discussion of the actual biographical articles themselves; more generalized discussions of BLP policy should be posted in the General Discussion or Bureaucracy forums.

This is a interesting squabble, with many of the usual participants. Jayen, as usual, makes a very calm and reasoned argument that we ought not to abuse living persons using Wikipedia. And the pro-abuse faction responds with the usual sophistry, although there is one notable innovation: Mr. "I shit on BLPs," Will Beback, attempts to taunt Cla68 with homoeroticism.

Yes, from personal experience, I can say that I have seen sources print things about me that were false and defamatory and upon my complaint, they merely removed it from the web rather than printing a retraction in the paper edition. In some cases, the false information remains on the web today (thankfully, obscurely) in archives of syndicators. I assume it will often remain in paid archives as well.

Funny how he's never asked me or any staff editors at Examiner.com to remove any of my content from the web. Probably because my content about him is all true!

Perhaps he is holding true to your signature line quote? (IMG:smilys0b23ax56/default/smile.gif)
