Just thought I'd get it ready.

Jumping the gun with a no-content thread I fear. I recommend we delete this until someone has something substantial to say.

I could use it for my Aloo Gobi recipe...

You know, it's cauliflower, potatoes, coriander, mustard seeds, maybe a little cloves and ground cardamom...

Yum! smile.gif

Well, if we're going to have recipies, here's Carbonara ala UV:

Ingredients:
Lots of bacon (at least half a pound)
One or two red onions
Garlic (many, many cloves)
Elmea (*not* cream - this stuff is much better)
Lots o pepper
Pasta

Method:
Cook pasta. At same time, fry bacon, garlic, and onion. When bacon cooked, add elmea and lots of freshly ground black pepper, and keep on high heat until elmea has gone from white to yellowish off-white. Serve immediately.

This is probably my favourite dish, much better than the way anyone else makes it. Any other recepies requested, please ask...

Are there any other prospective candidates at the moment?

Maybe Nigella Lawson could stand - she'd be able to contribute some recipes.

<actually serious>I think we should encourage someone to stand as a "Surrender Dorothy" candidate. They could take the position that WP should be turned over to responsible adults. That is to say a governing entity that is broadly representative of the wider (real world) community, representing all stakeholders and possessing sufficient administrative capacity and internal controls. </actually serious>

Or the Encyclopedic Project can limp along with a god-king and his cabal.

Trouble is, most serious mature people on Wikipedia are a bit too busy to take a post like that.

I speak from experience when I say that being a change agent/anti-establishment minority member of a corporate or non-profit board is not something I would wish on my worst enemy.
