Let you be the first to congratulate you.
Thank you. I apologize in advance if this make WR too respectable for your tastes. (Or, borrowing the analogy of Milton Roe, WR gentrification.) Emphasis added. Odd thing to say. Anyway, well done Luke! I got what GBG was trying to say. GBG is wrong to be catty though.

Actually I thought One's response was kind of effective, in a Forrest Gump kind of way. A new arbitrator is like a box of chocolates. Actually, that's only true if your IQ is 70 and you've haven't noticed that the lumpy irregular ones are the nuts. True also of arb candidates. There's also the soft-centred ones. Very popular, but ultimately go squishy when it gets too hot. However, it could be worse. We could have elected some Turkish delight.

And I never got to ask him WTF he gave himself 0-ability user boxes for Arabic and Hebrew. Well, the less Anime in the world the better, is my thought. When Hell freezes over:

It follows the results fairly. I also approve the rationale and comments - and said so, too. Jimbo has surprised me, here, by the clue shewn - his performance with the tools this last year had not indicated such an appreciation of the growing demands of the community. It may be that there are other voices he listens to, and that is never a bad thing for even the most enlightened of "leaders". I am pleasantly surprised.
