Sorry, I meant "Wikipedia account with more than zero edits at time of registration." But at least you're not trying to impersonate anybody... We try to be flexible about most things, but it's generally better if folks don't use "dummy" WP accounts in their WR profiles. It's not really necessary, and it might confuse people.

Anyway, you seem nice enough and all, and I'm not trying to provoke you or anything like that. I hope you can understand our position - it's difficult to strike a balance between serious criticism and observing the sorts of things WPers actually do, so when things happen that tip the balance one way or the other, it can be a little stressful.

I disagree with Wikipedia's use of CC-BY-SA/GFDL to license edits. I also do not feel that editing Wikipedia is a good use of my time.

I feel as though the positions that GNAA and WR take towards Wikipedia are very similar. GNAA believes that, as the world's "largest" "encyclopedia", Wikipedia must be held accountable when it breaks its own rules. We can't just have the world's largest compendium of knowledge run by a group of kids who treat it as their own personal playground now, can we?

We've banned Mr. Victim twice already. The main reason we haven't banned him a third time is that he promised to refrain from anti-gay remarks, and for the most part he's kept that promise. (I don't believe he's ever made racist remarks here, or even anything close, unless you count anti-Obama content as inherently racist, which we do not. If we did, we'd have to ban HK too, so that's a non-starter.)

Besides, we don't have a rule against people registering without WP accounts, we just prefer than members don't try to make it look like they have a WP account when they really don't. (My member profile here has never referred to a WP account, of course, since I have never had one.)

Seriously, I was only (or maybe I should say "mainly") concerned about the avatar image. Anything else, I figure we take a wait-and-see approach.
