Two Beefeaters have been suspended over the alleged harassment of 44-year-old Moira Cameron.

A third accepted a police caution for “inappropriate use of the internet” after her Wikipedia page was changed.

Looks like another BLP nightmare. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moira_Cameron her article. The question I ask is why does this woman have an article at all???

With all the usual "default to delete if she doesn't want it" provisos, I'd say that yes, "first woman to have this very high-profile job in over 500 years" is a legitimate topic (albeit probably better served by a subsection of Yeomen Warders).

Precisely. It's another classic BLP1E and obviously one which has been problematic for her. It should just be merged into the Yeomen Warders article.

Yeah, as soon as we merge Louise Brown to In vitro fertilization#History. She is, as far as I've seen, the bottom rung of the for "BLP1E" ladder, having not been (by some standards) a living person at the time of the one event.

Here's a better article on the item.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2009/nov/02/tower-london-beefeaters-harassment-inquiry

"Tower authorities launched an internal investigation over the weekend of 24-25 October in response to allegations of several instances of harassment. It is understood that one person has received a police caution for defacing Cameron's entry on the online encyclopedia Wikipedia."

We learn from this that BLP is enforced, and that vandals and sockpuppets can and do suffer "real world" consequences for their miseddeds.

And we learn from this that you're either a fucking whackjob or a vaguely annoying troll.
