_ Articles _ Sam Walsh CEO of Rio Tinto

Posted by: Brutus

There have been a few recent media reports in recent weeks about the foundation blocking accounts and ip addresses who contribute to fan boy write ups of corporate pages and identities of individuals who manage these corporations.

Obviously the foundation has not got around to one of the worlds largest mining companies and their CEO Wikipedia fan page.

he even leaves the following on his talk page. How about not editing company articles whilst being paid as an PR employee of that company?

I'm certain a majority of the article content has been written by Rio Tintos social media people.

Someone please nominate Sam Walsh article for Featured Article to stir and wake the administrators up.
I'm sure they have better checking tools available than I have.

hmmm.gif Maybe Rio Tinto have made - you know - a few donations?

Maybe nobody's noticed yet, you know, with the declining number of active editors.

Edward Creese, Senior advisor - social media at Rio Tinto is at it again, 13th October, 2015, Sam Walsh is apparently trustee of trustee of the Royal Opera House. Now I've worked for tier 1 multinationals for years at level where I mingle with the upper layers of management, and I'd say someone is instructing Edward to make those edits.

I recall there was a member here from years ago at the Wikipedia review who got a life ban over at Wikipedia for paid editing?
