In his typical fashion of http://rbth.ru/articles/2011/06/21/jimmy_wales_president_medvedev_is_the_only_world_leader_who_actually_13067.html in order to bestow praise on one person, Jimbo mouths off about copyright, the Internet, and the wisdom of Russian leadership.

The only problem with this, is that WP is as controlled and regulated in manners of the correct political POV, and in the scotching of real criticism, as a lot of totalitarian states. Medvedev is making the analogy to underground literature in the former USSR, when all the "news" outlets were organs of the State, and everything else not underground was heavily censored. As for the rest, alas, WP:NOTSAMIZDAT.
The samizdat, Jimbo, is Wikipedia Review. Maybe journalists who plan to write about the event should title their stories THAT.
