This is extremely worrying. It's not just the reliability or otherwise of Wikipedia - do we want judges reading "Medicine for beginners" and making a ruling based on wha tthey read? Don't American courts summon expert witnesses?

If you think thats scary, try reading thru the archives of the USPTO, lots of trademarks and patents have been ruled on based on Wikipedia entries. Talk about a way to reject a trademark... just own the Wikipedia rights to it.
