Well duh, the purpose of every encyclopedia is to explain its subject. Thanks to the internet Wikipedia is unbounded by the problems facing book-based encyclopedias, ergo it can now demonstrate in an accurate and comprehensive manner the whole history, methodology, philosophical basis, and literary and cultural significance of fisting, plus thousands of photographs carefully detailing this historic practice. No doubt in the annals of the archives of Byzantium lay a coin of Michael VII Parapinaces detailing in exquisite detail the practices of fisting in an era far removed from ours. No doubt the popular imagery of the raised fist is but a response of the masses of fisters against the oppressive anti-fist mentality permeating all the whole wide world in the service of the Roman Catholic Church and every other religious/conservative body. Anyone who opposes this and who is neither religious nor conservative is clearly just a dupe for them.
Closely united with the righteous fist movement are the wonderful libertarian heroes who defend Wikipedia from aforementioned oppressive and puritanical forces, valiantly serving forth visual aid for the silent majority of people who really, really need it (like, they might explode, if you get what I'm saying) in articles on all sorts of sexual practices from here to eternity. Without them one will notice just a small step from prohibiting photos of explicit sexual acts to admin-enforced denial of the Holocaust and Wikipedia itself being put directly into the hands of the government of the People's Republic of China.
