It happened recently on a blog for discussion of atheism, called You're Not Helping.
(Yes, it's been locked by the owner. Apparently because he's crazy, and totally
intolerant of criticism.)

You can read the whole twisted story here.

It's got everything Wikipedia has, in microcosm.
Egomania, abuse, lying, manipulation, abusive sockpuppetry
to support a bogus POV, and even perma-banning followed
by hostile offsite propagandizing.

Haha. It does follow the Wikipedia storyline quite well. The obsession with sockpuppets and the "detective" work.
