I am very concerned about this woman's teaching methodology, and how the "pillars" of Wikipedia are being indoctrinated into young minds.

The school is the Durham (NC) School of the Arts.

How exactly is that "mad"? She's acknowledging you have germane experience in the field, and is inviting your comments... she takes issue with your rhetoric. Furthermore the post she links (link) is quite reasonable. Rather than outright banning Wikipedia from schools, she suggests using it as a teaching tool.

In this paper, we will present a theoretical framework for using Wikipedia in the classroom, not as a source for research, but as an opportunity to conduct research and engage in critical thought.

She also deleted Greg's comment. Not very nice or proper for an academic.

Yes, it would seem rather inefficient for me to provide her any additional ideas, seeing how she deleted my earlier comment. How does that fit in with what she said about her students posting a checked draft to Wikipedia, where "it would be saved forever in the history of an article"?

I guess her blog doesn't hold to that same wonderful attribute of permanence that she readily praised in the AACE-Ed Media Conference Proceedings.

Looks like we've simply found ourselves yet another "model Wikipedian".

Yeah, sounds very reasonable and objective, like any impartial teacher should be.
