Interesting.
I don't have the cards to look over, so I can't verify that there was indeed a violation, but I wouldn't doubt it. It's interesting how Wikipedia responded to the removal. First, an overzealous vandal fighter blindly reverted the edit. Second, User:Zzuuzz thanked the IP by blocking it as an open proxy. |

Read the intro. It says that each card has a brief bio, lists the major works, and has a quotes section. And voila, that's exactly what was in the old version for each philosopher. |
