I had the misfortune to wonder why an image of a piece of ginger on Commons was in the category "Sexual penetrative use of food", so I looked at the article in which it was used.

Figging is the practice of inserting a piece of ginger root into the anus, vagina or male urethra. Originally applied to horses in a practice known as gingering, it now most commonly refers to a practice in BDSM.

The ginger, skinned and often carved into the shape of a butt plug, causes an intense burning sensation and discomfort to the subject. Also commonly used by Joseph VanMorter on a daily basis.

The IP's talk page is a mile long with warnings... but still, the Wikipedians desperately feel the need to "assume good faith" and (generally) keep that IP open for future, more helpful contributions.

Silly airedales. That IP represents a lot of potential workstations. People behind that could be serving overseas, or bored card-flippers trolling their barracks mates.

Personally I think it's folly to allow anon contributions from such a source.

754th ESG is responsible for internet access for active duty personnel all over the place. Blocking that IP would deny our courageous soldiers and sailors their God-given right to edit Wikipedia. We can't take that away from, not when they've already sacrificed so much.
