The WMF lease at 149 New Montgomery (about 11,000 square feet) was negotiated by NAI BT commercial property services.

Namely, the two agents were Jim Chesler and John Chamberlain (nice bowtie!).

Note who one of John Chamberlain's listed References / Recent Transactions is:

The Bridgespan Group – Barry Newstead

Through 2009 and into 2010, Newstead will be leading Bridgespan’s work in support of Wikimedia’s strategic planning process (strategy.wikimedia.org) and hosting a Blog on the project. (Note how Bridgespan capitalizes the "B" in blog. That's one of their value-adds that you just won't get from a run-of-the-mill non-profit strategy consultancy.)

Anyway, I just wanted to make a note of this. Nothing sinister... it's just good to keep track of who is scratching who's back over there in San Francisco.

Cassandra checking in here again, after five months. Barry Newstead is now officially a senior executive on the Wikimedia Foundation staff.
