QUOTE(thekohser @ Tue 14th February 2012, 2:46pm) Apparently, Selina's pages on Wikipedia have recently been vandalized like this and this. Selina communicated to me via PM on WR that she believed these actions to be my own. I would like to assure her and the rest of the WR and WP communities that these actions are not my own, and in fact, the first I became aware of them was via the PM received from Selina. (In the future, please understand that were I to engage in any vandalism on Wikipedia, it would be of a much higher-brow nature than these sloppily-constructed drive-by jobs.) Yeah, it looks like a "stitch-up" as they say in England. Some troll trying to add fuel to the fire of sniping you two have been throwing at each other.

QUOTE(Selina @ Fri 17th February 2012, 9:33pm) Why love deletionism so much RMHED? (IMG: smilys0b23ax56/default/tongue.gif) You know it is pretty much like the cliquey editors/wp:GAMErs/cabal's official religion? (IMG: smilys0b23ax56/default/wink.gif) I don't love deletionism, I just detest the way certain ARS editors do everything they can to keep BLP's of barely notable people on Wikipedia.

QUOTE(Selina @ Fri 17th February 2012, 9:48pm) I don't know the politics or the people and don't want to get involved - but the idea itself is a good one, even if there are some bad apples, there's definitely a bigger problem of deleting and moving to the Wikia moneymachine.... and the dickish thugs that just go around deleting stuff for fun and padding out an appearance of being suitable for administrator "heavily involved in Wikipedia's processes" blabl when they could do better actually trying to help people. -.- Deletionists just seem like lazy wannabe bully nerdboys (IMG: smilys0b23ax56/default/smile.gif) On the whole I agree, except when it comes to marginal BLP's, where if in doubt, delete, should be the maxim.

QUOTE(Selina @ Sat 18th February 2012, 7:34am) bleh, that is a shame, they sound nice. Do you think they are very happy with the situation where they are unlikely to ever get an article now? (IMG: smilys0b23ax56/default/unhappy.gif) Don't you think if you had suggested the article honestly and hadn't had such a bad history that people would have been inclined to discuss it more? If you had provided those references and stated youir conflict of interest in being paid to do it then, I don't think anyone could have reasonably turned down creating the article... You hurt your client more than helping them (IMG: smilys0b23ax56/default/unhappy.gif) It's funny how wrong you can get things, Selina. An impartial observer might conclude that you stretch your imagination just to find ways to critique me. The client in that case was very, very happy with the excellent effort I put forth, and they gave me a very high rating on Freelancer.com. Both I and they believe if they had used "the proper channels" to request that an article be created on their behalf by a volunteer, just about the exact same thing would happen that happens to any of the other 42,360+ articles requested that get declined.

QUOTE(Tarc @ Wed 15th February 2012, 7:27am) QUOTE(radek @ Wed 15th February 2012, 12:55am) QUOTE(Rhindle @ Tue 14th February 2012, 10:38am) "Jimbo Juice" is a term that VoC likes to use. Not saying whether or not it's him though
Way way way too coherent to be VoC. Say what you want about Mr. VoC, but when it's him, you KNOW it's him. Whatever happened to our favorite WR cretin? I haven't been accused of polishing the WMF's knob and wiping juice off my chin for like ages. Your the Wikipedian juice drinker and besides your the catcher and never the pitcher....
