Got to love the Magic Admin, Gamailel (T-C-L-K-R-D)
see his talk page to see his Netrual Point of View, regarding the administration of wikipeidia policy of "COI" or "Conflict of Interest", The magic man of Gamaliel's heart
We can see the Magic admin at work, conforming to the rules and policy of Wiki policy of conflict of inerest here, in clarity, when the magic admin, jumps in here Magic admin's edit on Michael S. Steele and then when Rockbaby confronts the Magic admin Get the classic wikipeida compartmentalization of thought with this beautiful line from Gramliel "I am also an administrator, and I believe that this is directly relevant. Administrators are not arbiters of article content unless that content violates a core policy like NPOV or BLP." What a HOOT!!! An Admin (Gamaliel) with love of his subject expressed by the huge picture pasted on his talk page yet he can remain NPOV on a political bio, and pass judgment is a real interesting application of [WP: COI]. But in wikpeida, the surrealism is SOP (standard Operation Procedure) but then again I wonder what section 503 ©(3) saids when we look at the IRS site, we can see this... "Section 501©(3) organizations are restricted in how much political and legislative (lobbying) activities they may conduct. For a detailed discussion, see Political and Lobbying Activities. For more information about lobbying activities by charities, see the article Lobbying Issues; for more information about political activities of charities, see the FY-2002 CPE topic Election Year Issues." IRS web site on 503 ©(3) issues Political issues, here on IRS SITE I wonder if, in looking at the other Political edits on which the magic admin has participated, there would find wikpeidia could be in violation of IRS REGs as well as may be in violation of Federal Election law? The tangled web we weave when we try to deceive" my mother once said, and wikipeida is a real tangled web of deception and misinformation. |

Are you trying to say that Gamaliel (T-C-L-K-R-D) should not be allowed to edit the Michael S. Steel article because he has a conflict of interest stemming from the fact that he supports Barack Obama (as evidenced by the image on his talk page)? Hell, if that were the case, there'd only be a handful of admins who could ever touch a Republican's article. And what does any of this have to do with the IRS? Unless the Wikimedia Foundation is directing Gamaliel to advance a specific political postion, I'm not seeing the correlation. What am I missing here? |

So you think your sworn enemies and other rabid critics can give your wikibio a fair and balanced treatment? No, he thinks that merely expressing support for a presidential candidate that over 50% of the voting population voted for is not a sufficient basis to call someone a "sworn enemy" and/or "other rabid critic" of anything. But you got it wrong... the issue is this; if you are an advocate of an ideology, should you hold sway and control over those Bios that have a differing ideology then yours. Especially when you hold such a position of moderator? I think that would be very unfair and inconsistent with the concept of fairness and balance. Also, this particular Admin has a bad habit of only engaging in one sided discussions, afraid of fair engagement of ideas, and is thin skinned as well as a basic vindictive wiki thug.
IT's to bad you can't see that. This post has been edited by victim of censorship: Tue 13th January 2009, 3:53pm |

As Gamaliel originally said, it is not the role of Wikipedia admins (acting as an admin) to dictate what content should or should not be included. Wikipedia does not have "moderators" in the same sense as other sites, and you have as much control over the content of that article as any other editor. The only problem you seem to have with Gamaliel is that he supports an ideology opposite to yours, and not with any action he has actually taken as an admin. |

The problem is Gamaliel don't follow his statement of mission. Gamaliel don't do what he saids. I don't think you truly understand the depth and breath of Gamaliel's malfeasance as the head of a very powerful political wiki clique. I'm not the only one who feels this way about this man. See follow links with other people encounters with Gamaliel. AS far as I'm am concerned, Gamaliel should not be any were near any political article or bio due to his penchant of bias and POV PUSHING. You should read this Hivemind More history of Gamaliels other buddies Also, under stand this, I consider Wikipeida to be evil and with out any fair and responsible governance. Wikipeida, is considered to be a rouge citizen of the internet, by most educated and enliten people. Wikipeidia is a parasite of other peoples works, reputations and ideas. I consider Wikpeida to be a monumental failure. Now your apologetics of Garmiel and the wikipeida's way of dealing with conflicts of Interests never addresses the fact and reality of these bad actors. I will, in the next few week compile a complete picture of the Grand Gamieliel and show, to any resoanable person, the evil rouge this man is and why he should be exposed and shown for what he is. For now I have to go. |

Have you ever considered switching over to de-caff? I'd be happy if he just switched over to Firefox 3.x, so he'd at least have the built-in spellchecker... His dispute with Gamaliel (T-C-L-K-R-D) goes back a long way, actually. And to some degree, the enmity is perfectly understandable - Gamaliel added (and defended, using his admin powarz) a considerable amount of negative information about a number of politicians who were nowhere near "local" to his voting district, but at least one of whom most definitely was local to Mr. Victim's. And of course, Mr. Victim is a man of unusually strong political, social, and ideological opinions, as we're all aware. The problem of people who are far from one's own voting district attacking one's local politicians isn't limited to Wikipedia, of course, and obviously there are those who will say it isn't a "problem" at all. But that doesn't make it any better for people who look back fondly on a "happier" time when it was actually quite difficult for people to do that, at least not without it being fairly obvious that it was going on. |
