Kelly blocked..., ...for insulting the ID Cabal Options

No doubt the Tznkai account is operated by the same person as back in 2006; I was abused by him back then and I remember the attitude well. I agree that there is a story to tell about this long term absence followed by a sudden return with a high level of admin activity and questionable involvement in controversial issues, and I'd like to know that story.

He does now.. after I spent a few minutes ripping bits and pieces off him for it. Kelly's not helping with the refactoring that DID happen. (changing bad to incompetent wasn't going to help much). He was actually talking about his clerking back when Kelly Martin was part of ArbCom.. I guess he had to take some kind of emergency long term wikibreak.

There were no clerks when I was on the ArbCom.

It was a long time ago.

And I was in email correspondence with many admin at the time, as I was contacted by many admin at the time.

I use my real name when I email, and I discuss things upfront when I email. However, Ryulong made it clear that he was not willing to discuss with anyone, and Sandstein made it clear that he would enforce it.

Kelly is like a lot of contributors, I think, who have realized that a lot of nonsense is allowed to go on in Wikipedia and can't understand why it hasn't all been dealt with decisively already. So, that means that he/she doesn't have much patience with editors that he/she perceives as acting in bad faith.

I agree with B, but what's notable is that no one even warned him, whereas Kelly's redacted comment earned him/her some time in the cooler. I don't think there's anything sinister going on here. Just the well-known admin double standard.

Even the first Tznkai edits are clearly from somebody who seems rather experienced in the ways of Wikipedia and starting over. Don't give me none of this duck-to-water crap; that's only the argument the bad guys use when one of their new socks quacks like an experienced duck.

In Tsnkai's case (Tznkai I?), a list of this first edits ever shows he spent his first couple of days defending the Jewish Defence League and the LGBT rights articles. Also making sure there was no POV pushing in articles which sought to connected homosexuality and peophilia. Ah, just your usual future WP editor, licking their way up the brown snowcone.

Though I haven't identified anybody Tsnkai seems to be an obvious sock of, yet, it's interesting to look at lists of commonly edited articles between him and (say) FT2 or Jayjg or KillerChihuahua. It's fairly clear these folks are really interesed in writing about English Kings or Fermat's theorum.

A dormant account for 2 years can just waltz back in with admin abilities,become an arbcom clerk, and go out blocking anyone without discussion. Any dormant admin account should immediately go to Rfa at least before continuing any admin duties. This is just another rake that wikipedia keeps stepping on.

There may be no conspiracy and I never suggested there was. A dormant admin account allowed to come back like this is just a bad idea. Everything may be fine in this case but the potential problems sure make it easy for "gibber jabber" about "instant conspricacy theories" and even things that turn out to be true.
