_ Editors _ I am speechless

Yes, I know it's a Bad Thing posting a link to an attack page on WR etc etc, but a) it's already been mentioned at ANI and b) I have never heard of any of the people involved and couldn't care less about the content dispute that's apparently sparked it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Nishidani/Archive_7&oldid=254816324#Honour:_A_Wiki_Ballad_in_20_Sonnets has got to be the most impressive personal attack ever posted on or about Wikipedia. It's rare that I see something on Wikipedia that leaves me absolutely astounded, but that does the trick. To Awbrey et al, I think the bar just got raised.

As an original Kiplingesque ballad combined with an arbcom-esque set of easter-egg diffs and cites, it's frigging brilliant! I'd never before heard of Nishidani, but he/she/or it is clearly way too smart not to get into trouble on Wikipedia, eventually.

Oh, I see Nishidani has fallen afoul of the Kabal that protects the Israel/Palastine conflict articles. Figures. unhappy.gif And (if I may say so) bound to happen.

Another fine example of pointless, worthless drama. It's just too easy to set off the Zionists. And yet, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Jaakobou#WP:AE, the guy Nishidani was criticizing, is also threatened with sanctions. And Postlethwaite jumps out of the woodwork to throw in his stupidity.

"Encyclopedia" my ass. (for the thousandth time.) Great poem, though.

I've done a double dactyl on-wiki, some quatrains, and my long piece last April Fools Day, but I don't think any of them will be reprinted in a greatest-poems-of-the-decade collection. A few months ago, I tried to compose all of my RfA supports in rhymed couplets, but it didn't catch on.

(For wiki aficionados, which is admittedly stretching a long way away from the purpose of Wikipedia Review so I'll be brief, the best rhymed piece I've seen on or about wiki is the RfA candidate parody of "Modern Major General" by Bucketsofg.)

Welcome to the happy land where we don't have to Assume Good Faith when dealing with obvious shit-stirrers like No Calton. Oh and thank you for bringing my attention to the existence fo this thread through mentioning WR.

We know that his account was set up to stalk Calton, he has stalked Nishidani. I don't know whether there are others. (Not being his stalker, I haven't compared his edits with likely hate targets, though I see someone has been through his sub pages.) So what can be done about his trying to drive away talented or useful editors? No admin will do anything with stalkers like Jaacobou or NoCal100; if they do, they will end up "outed" at http://www.thejidf.org/2008/10/list-of-heavily-biased-anti-israel.html, like http://www.thejidf.org/2008/08/cjcurrie-biased-wikipedia-editor.html.

NoCal100 obviously is associated with them, though Jaacobou is an older, pre-JIDF account.

Oh, and did you see how NoCal100 worded his first report to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents#Inappropriate_attack_page_in_user_space? About "three additional uninvolved editors, including 2 administrators, .....voiced concern.."? Two of those had been canvassed ...Jaacobou always canvass sympathetic editors/admins via email (and the last person who "voiced concern" is a guy who serves in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel_Defense_Forces, who strangely, always appears in these discussions with a 100% predictable views. sleep.gif )

No Calton has been on my radar for sometime but I didn't connect him to the JIDF. I took him for a sock of an older editor though the only attempt I'm aware of to identify the puppetmaster was unsuccessful.

What I noticed about his phrasing was that he only mentioned three editors and not the fourth who turned up later to say hang on.

And as for being "good gamers" and "less clumsy", if you're claiming one is a JIDF stooge, then "clumsy" is exactly how I describe the JIDF.

The JIDF tend to be way more clunsy than Jaacobou. Take this sleeper that was activated today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Saltonsea

What wouldn't surprise me however is if the JIDF were trying to recruit active pro-Israel editors. If you look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive496#Unacceptable_behaviour_by_User:Ceedjee, you'll see a suggestion that they're in contact with one editor even though he is on their list of "Heavilly biased anti-Israel" editors. If they contact him when he clashes with a more genuine anti-Israel editor, then it is hard to believe that they don't contact others.

Nishidani illustrates, in a nice, concise manner, his http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Nishidani&oldid=257890178.

QUOTE(Nishidani)
Addendum. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents&diff=prev&oldid=257747813

Speaker A (1):'The Arab world, Islam inspired cultural structure is the main cause of the Arab-Palestinian 91 year racist terror campaign against the Jewish-Palestinians,'

Speaker A (2)'I have absolutely nothing against Muslims and/or Arabs'

Speaker B. 'Statement (2) is contradicted by Statement (1).'

Administrator C. 'To remind speaker A of the contradiction between his two statements constitutes a personal attack on A. Repeat a notification of this contradiction to A and you will be punished.'

Speaker B. 'Let me contextualize. Speaker A made his first comment in the presence of an Arab (D). He made his second comment when D later complained of harassment by A, whose first statement implicitly defined that Arab's world as one whose culture is characterised historically by terrorism and racism against Jews. It was therefore an attack on D as hailing from a civilisation that is structured by antisemitism and terrorism.'

Administrator C 'It appears that you are directly accusing A of racism.'

Speaker B. 'No, I am reminding A that he accused D of racism.'

Administrators C, E, F. 'Forget about D. In reminding A of his attack on D, you are attacking A, and some of us think you are accusing A of racism and terrorism. What is important here is what we consider to be an attack by you on A, not the fact that A attacked D as heir to a racist terroristic culture, and then prevaricated when the two clashed again.'

Speaker B.'To remind a person of what he said is not an attack.'

Administrators (apparently). 'Four of us think you, in that diff, are accusing A of belonging to an Israeli world, Judaism-inspired cultural structure which you think is the main cause of the Israeli-Jewish 91 year racist terror campaign against the Palestinians.'

At this point B is forced to retire. The possibilities are three. Either (a) he is an idiot, (b) administrators can't read English, though they write it, or © ethnic sympathies and subtextual politics trump logic. Whatever, this is too eerily reminiscent of Harold Pinter's dialogues in his comedies of menace, and he has no intention of playing the eternal role of a whingeing victim against a cast of people unable to construe a simple piece of English, or understand the elementary forms of the syllogism, especially when such people exercise administrative functions. Alternatively, he may indeed be an idiot, in which case his aspirations to contribute to wikipedia are misplaced and rightly blocked by administrative consensus.Nishidani (talk) 11:41, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Nishidani's picture appears on the entry for tl;dr at Urban Dictionary. The guy's a nutcase and wikipedia's better off without him.

Indeed. I've had dealings with Nishidani, back in March. He, in fact, isn't on Urban Dictionary. I wonder if Abd is...but they both have a reputation for writing long, long posts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Second_Intifada/Archive_6#Mediation It's TL;DR though. confused.gif

nope. nor is there for nocal. it's just people afraid of the great Jewish conspiracy. any pro-israel and/or jewish editor now gets linked to the JIDF as soon as they do something the slightest bit "controversial" apparently.

I don't find that surprising at all, given the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/CAMERA_lobbying from several months ago, that thankfully finally washed that shitstain http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Zeq from the wikipedia.
