Benjiboi has been rather slippery in regard to his possible involvement in paid editing and has effectively stymied the creation of a paid editing guideline (it has been forked into a proposed guideline controlled by Benjiboi and a proposed policy controlled by others).

I don't know if this has come up before, but I can't recall seeing it:
