Poor Smedley! He got a one week block for taunting Crackpine over the Porch Monkey incident. He probably deserved it, although before the block he agreed to withdraw from ANY article that Crackpipe desired. Crackpot refused to name any articles. ANI - Bmedley Sitler - StillSmedly emailed me that he's brokenhearted that he's blocked right when the Larry Craig scandal is breaking. He put a couple light hearted topical comments on his talk page. NYBrad removed the first one as a copyvio - I presume because Smedley posted almost the entire lyrics to Elvis' 'Burning Love'. Hunka Hunka Burnin LoveSmedley then reposted a pic of Larry Craig with one line from the song, then added a pic of a public restroom and a light hearted rib. Gloryholes Forever !Stalinist GOP Politburo Member Strongman Thatcher131 then added a WEEK to poor Smedley's block for (continuing disruption and POV pushing on his talk page and WP:SOAP More likely the extra week was for insulting a Republican ! Take a look at Morton's rant filled page and tell me WHICH page and WHICH editor is more guilty of 'POV Pushing' ! Morton's RantpageA Stalinist Cabal Member (Thatcher131) Strikes again! Free speech is over rated. But then I am un-American, or rather, not-American - I haven't had that rhetorical freedom of speech mantra drilled into me by a vast apparatus of propaganda.  No, Thatcher131 is the Stalinist for his censoring, intimidation and blocking of Smedley for having an 'opposition view', but letting Morton, who 'toes the Party Line' propagandize at will. Edit: I agree, to some extent, that 'free speech' can be over rated. I once got into an argument with a libertarian who felt that the removal of bomb making, and WMD making info (he wanted to make Ricin from Castor beans 'just in case' he might need it someday) from the www was a 'un-American'. How Morton gets away with that page is beyond belief! Agree that the partisan nature of the actions are yet another example of inconsistency. And they locked Smedley's user page so he can't even contest their actions. They didn't even warn him not to use his talk page for 'WP:SOAP' - NYBrad removed the lyrics as a Copyvio - Smedley posted his humorous commentary and BLAM ! - one week more on his block from that Jackboot wearing, GOP Operative slash Bush-worshipping goon Thatcher131. Hang on. I thought that you were meant to be the Stalinist. Is "Stalinist" the new "Nazi"? If so, having recognised this, can the new phenomenon be now known as Kato's law? Saw a blip on the Νs last nite about Putine's New Youth Camps, and I didn't cache the spieling but it sounded a lot like "Gnoshies" — I think we see the rise of a new law in town: Putine's Law. As the number of Nazis in an onimous development grows larger, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis approaches one.
