Oh I just gave a movie review for transformers. 5 1/2 out of 10 I gave it. Was okay, too much CGI, way too complicated, needed a few sex scenes to add to the movie. A sequel could be really good though. I tend to be a harsh rater though, that was one of the highest ratings I've given for a while (I gave Simpsons 3). I haven't seen any of the others on the IMDB list.
I have written my own novel, which is just begging to be made in to a movie. It's technically science fiction, but not really. More like Star Wars (if you think Star Wars is science fiction, then so is my novel), but its not like Star Wars at all other than genre. Your stereotypical good vs evil, right and wrong, good triumphs over evil, with lots of plot twists, but typical fairytale in terms of goodness, and gets pretty deep in terms of message, with many medieval elements, magic, high tech stuff and general all-round good stuff. Of course, I haven't actually published it yet. But if you want to see it, I can send it to you and see if you want to work with it. Seriously, I thought it'd be a best seller. Not joking here. I think its the best story ever told, very different in terms of originality, but not so far different as to confuse people. Certainly kicks Harry Potter's butt. But hey I'm dreaming here. I've been trying to finish writing it for the past 15 years, and nobody is going to take something that I can't decide on the finer points of, let alone one that hasn't even been published. Ah well. Sorry, was day dreaming there. So yeah, what were we talking about? 15 year old boys? Well, in my story, when they start off, they are 12, although by the end they are 23. You could play them with 15 year old actors if you liked, maybe even the whole way through if you really wanted, just change how they look as they "age". And my target audience was meant to be teens. Oh shit can we get back on track here? Anyone? Nup I'm gone. |
