It should come down by having the nonprofit status revoked

We've considered attacking WP's charter but haven't seen a good enough argument to do so, although we're happy to hear your thoughts on how this might be done. Presently we feel more might be accomplished by a legal challenge to WP's assertion they are immune, per Sec. 230, from liability for defamation and false light privacy invasion, especially given the right plaintiff.

Probably no need for that... It's much more fun for people to figure it out on their own anyway. My only question is, did you get interested in that subject because of NBK, or had you been interested in it since, you know, the late 60's?

We started a worldwide campaign to create and store socks. They can't tell until I use them that it is me, because fans around the world create the accounts on their servers and send me the details.

It's always nice to have fans!

I suppose we'll end up having to sue.

The usual question, then - sue the foundation, or the individual admins? I think you have a legitimate case against both, though it's not likely to result in big financial damages, IMO.

In the meantime we've commissioned a screenplay called TRUTHSEEKER01. It is about an online encyclopedia called MYPEDIA which publishes both true and false information in order to drive people to suicide and/or murder. It's a horror film. The villain is the head of MYPEDIA a character called Timster. And one of the three heroes is from MYPEDIA ALERT.

If you ask me, it's going to have to be a horror-comedy. There's just no way to get inside the whole WP experience without producing a lot of hilarity, and it might as well be intentional, right?

Did you know that they censored the mention of your official site on the theory that it's an "attack site"? Amazing.

The article also appears to be semiprotected, requiring users to log in to edit it, though the customary template is missing. Not sure if this is a violation of the so-called rules, but if so, it's not an uncommon one.

Anyhow, I'm sorry they put you through this shit and I hope your claim is actionable. The idea that they can throw you off just because you threaten a law suit is itself ludicrous. Best of luck extracting justice and a few pounds of Jimbo's flesh. Wikipedia has had this coming for a long time.

Okay, here's my two guesses:

1. The first thing that lept to mind was ∑thing about a "Journey to the A-hole of the Earth", but I wasn't sure just how rank Bob "The Bird" Scott really was. No matter, "Colonel" is often enough an honorific title among Peers.

Yes, definitely a comedy. I see some parallels with the Big Lebowski. Admins are the Nihilists (a "bunch of fucking amateurs" and "Fair, who's the fucking nihilist here!", and of course I imagine they spend most of their day napping). Jimbo is the Big Lebowski (pretentious and scheming), combined with a touch of Jackie Treehorn (the pornographer). SlimVirgin and Jayjg are the Treehorn thugs (peeing on your rug even if you're the wrong guy).

The pathetic thing is that his parents seem to be unaware of what their own child is doing. The fact that you would question anything about this is astonishing. This CHILD has cyber stalked me incessantly for 9 months now. I SHOULD make that documentary and show up at his freaking house with cameras and let his friends know what he does. I don't think I am perfect but let's be clear- this guy was on my nuts and remains on my nuts (most recent email- Sunday).

Look at his contribs- he doesn't even edit for six weeks then comes after me once he figures out the latest sock

I won't have time to get back to it for a while, but before I forget where I read it, I would like to flag the following scenario as an example of something that we've all seen happen time and time again in Wikiputia.

It was at this point that a fifteen year old boy from outside Toronto named [Name Redacted by My Personal Rule, Not Necessarily Anyone Else's] (current editor name SATURDAY) started trolling me, or ColScott. I found out later he was an obsessive Transformer fan who had seen me on a panel in Toronto. He started challenging every edit I made on anything. It stunned me that I have a master's degree in Cinema and have been producing movies for fifteen years and this child was not only challenging everything I said, but was permitted to do so by the Shitapedia rules. I condescended to the boy every chance I got.

Adding it to the Big Bag Full of similar incidents, the question on which I will continue to harp is —

Why on earth are you mocking a 15 year old boy? He's a child. His behaviour is certainly not excusable but your response is incredibly childish and crosses into the realms of the bizarre. You had the choice to respond in an adult manner and you failed.

And it's rather amusing how you accuse him of being obsessed whilst at the same time you're using hundred of socks and so on and so forth to mess around on Wikipedia. If you have a real case, take it to court. Put up or shut up.
